About the Journal
The Eagle Scholars Journal of Social Sciences (ESJSS) is the official scholarly publication of Eagle Scholars Forge, the academic and educational initiative of Sele Media Africa dedicated to equipping the next generation of African and Caribbean scholars with the research, writing, and publication skills they need to lead with excellence.
ESJSS provides a rigorous, peer-reviewed platform for emerging and established scholars whose work engages the most pressing social, political, economic, and cultural questions facing Africa, the Caribbean, and the wider Global South. We welcome original research articles, review essays, case studies, and policy analyses that combine intellectual depth with real-world relevance.
Our scope includes (but is not limited to) sociology, political science, economics, education, communication, history, anthropology, public policy, gender studies, development studies, and the intersections between them.
